In 1983, MC&A, Inc. was established as Mary Charles and Associates, Inc. by three individuals who brought with them over thirty-one combined years of travel industry and ground operations experience. Starting as a ground operator for incentive programs, we changed with the expanded needs of our clients and are now Hawaii’s only "full-service" destination management and conference planning company. For over twenty years, we’ve remained one of the most sophisticated and technologically advanced destination management consultants in the travel industry.

Our reputation of providing the highest level of quality service for both national and international markets is unsurpassed.

In addition to Group Travel services, two divisions have been added through the years: the Leisure Travel Division with travel desks located conveniently throughout Waikiki; and Events Division, with an extensive inventory of props and linens.

Recently, we’ve begun ground operation services for most of the major cruise lines operating in Hawaii.

The corporate name change to MC&A, Inc. was a reflection of the strategic growth and diversification of the company, as well as a shift from centering around one person to a dynamic team of Associates.

We service over 250,000 leisure travel and 100,000 corporate guests per year and over three hundred programs and events annually. No other Hawaii destination management company comes close to the size and complexity of our programs and clients.

We operate on all Hawaiian Islands and we have offices on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island.

Experience
All programs and events are produced with our own staff, rather than the industry practice of operating predominantly with freelancers.

We employ over 120 full-time associates, including meeting planners, account managers, account coordinators, trip directors, airport guest services staff, entertainers and events crew.
